As long as you take out a cat insurance policy with us before your cat turns 9 years old, your cat can qualify for our highest level of insurance cover, Comprehensive Protect. Once insured, we will continue to insure your cat for the rest of its life and will not reduce its cover as it ages.
There is no upper age limit for our Accident Protect plan.
This is great news for cat owners. If your cat is less than 9 and you haven't taken out any pet insurance yet, then you really shouldn't wait any longer.
1300 Pet Insurance offers insurance that covers 75% of your Vet bills (up to a maximum of $15,000 per year), with $0 excess.
If your cat is under 9 years old, you can apply for either Accident Protect—which only covers your pet against injuries—or Comprehensive Protect, which protects your pet against injuries and illnesses.
